Do I need an account to browse opportunities?
No — the opportunities board is public. You only need an account to log hours once you've volunteered, or to contact an NGO directly through your profile.
What does it cost?

How do my volunteer hours actually get verified?
You log the hours you contributed against the NGO you worked with, and that organisation confirms or rejects the entry from its own dashboard. Only confirmed hours count toward your Mitrata Score — logging alone doesn't.
Can I volunteer remotely?
Yes. Opportunities are tagged when they're remote, alongside skills-based, field work, event, and advisory roles based in person.
What if there's nothing near me right now?
Follow an NGO working on a cause you care about — its page is where new opportunities and updates appear first — or check back on the board, since organisations post as new needs come up.
