Its activities cover health, sociology and economics of the old people. The centre has higher education link (HE Link) with the Centre for Social Policy Research and Development (CSPRD) of University of Wales, UK. The HE Link programme is supported by The British Council and operative from 1st April?2000. The programme envisages development of educational programmes, educational material and research activities focussing on issues of elderly women in both urban and rural areas
