The Chartered Accountants Act, 1949;The Cost and Works Accountants Act, 1959;The Company Secretaries Act, 1980;The Partnership Act, 1932; The Societies Registration Act, 1860; The Companies (Donation to National Fund) Act, 1951; The Department of Company Affairs has three tier organisational set-up for administration of the Act, namely, the Secretariat at New Delhi, the Regional Directors at Bombay, Calcutta, Madras and Kanpur and the Registrar of Companies in States and Union Territories
