Women’s issues and empowerment ELA (Earth) Women?s Development Society aims to work in the rural and urban areas of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Presently, it is working in the districts of Patna, Vaishali, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, Delhi, Allahabad and Sonbhadra. It is a non-hierarchical collective, which works towards women’s empowerment for social justice and sustainable livelihoods and organizes and educates rural women with economic development programs and conducts training programs for their advancement and to help them to help themselves out of the disadvantages and deprivations to a qualitative improvement of their lives.
