Human rights, legal empowerment, right to information, food, peoples monitoring of laws & schems The Koshish was registered as a charitable trust on 4 August 1997. The need of registration and naming of organization were resonated after a sustained and continued effort over a score years endeavor. The group is comprised of members 22 to 41 year. All of them have started socially active life from student days. All were attached with students? movement during their youth days. After youth movement they joined and actively participated in democratic movement at provincial level. Besides participation in secular democratic movements they were assuring for a social change. Total development is the catchword for social change at local level. During the process of democratic movement and social change effort these individuals interacted informally and gone through the experience of each other?s over a period of five years. During the process many ideas have been theorised and many things have been implemented. Koshish Founding Members & Founding officials were stalwarts in the fields of law, journalism, social and cultural work. Koshish team consists primarily of lawyers and sociologists
