It aims at encouraging and enabling their participation in the processes of their governance. It strives for achievement of equity and justice among people. It recognizes the power of knowledge. It raises awareness about the rights of people and promotes experiential learning through approach of creating knowledge, training and capacity building. SGVSS is a not-for-profit, non- government developmental organization, registered under rajasthan societies registration act, 1958 and has sown its seed in bharatpur during the year 1994
