SOACH is a registered non-profit that engages in critical developmental initiatives for the less privileged – especially women and children in rural India. Rural India, even today, lacks access to some very basic amenities, affecting their present but more importantly impacting their futures. Essential developmental markers, such as institutions of higher education, vocational training and stable livelihood opportunities are missing. SOACH thus focuses on breaking the cycle of poverty in rural India, by educating children, strengthening poorly literate women with skills, and empowering rural communities with healthy vocations and livelihoods.
