Disability, Education The Central Institute of Teachers of the Deaf is a teacher training college which conducts diploma course in special education (hearing Impaired) recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India. The main aim of the training college is to prepare skilled and efficient teachers of the Hearing Impaired, to work effectively and with dedication in the special schools, to work as resource teachers in the units attached to regular schools and to provide guidance to parents of hearing impaired children regarding their involvement in their child’s overall development and education
