Social welfare To study and analyse the impact of social development programmes and projects and see that the benefits reach the people. To undertake welfare projects both in the rural and urban sectors for the upliftment of the exploited and the vulnerable sections of the society with special focus on slum dwellers, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, backward castes, minorities, women and children in the area of health, nutrition and literacy, environment, agriculture and other burning issues. To fight for human rights, women rights, child rights, health rights, labour rights, consumer rights, rights for livelihood, other fundamental rights as citizens and set up watchdog committees for protection of such rights. To fight corruption at all levels, social evils, atrocities, cruelty, injustice, tortures, discrimination, harassment, superstition and all kinds of exploitation in the society
