To work for the welfare of underprivileged and down trodden section of the society Association for voluntary action (AVA) was conceptualized in the year 1st January 1980 as a non profit making voluntary Organisation and formally registered under societies registration act xxi of 1860 in the year 1982 with the primary objective for socio-economic upliftment of rural poor and vulnerable section of the society. Latter on it was registered under foreign contribution regulation act 1976. Since then, it has been working tirelessly for the welfare of older persons, person with disabilities, women and children, and other deprived, marginalized and underprivileged sections of the society. During this long trek our association carves out a name for itself as a leading voluntary organisation in the state. Presently our association is providing both institutional and non institutional services to the above said sections of the society.
