Rural Development, Sustainable Development The basic mandate of CARD is to organise and educate the people by forming a common front for representing their interest to the state and central government as well as work for societal transformation and holistic sustainable development of the area through a participatory process. In other words, its mission is to act as a facilitating factor to the overall socio-economic development of the vulnerable sections of society. It seeks to create a new sense of awareness amongst the local population as a precursor in bringing about overall development
