Development(General) GIAN attempts to inculcate the innovative ethic in the mind of the young generation in particular and the whole society by creating role models out of grass-roots innovators. The primary object for which the Not-For-Profit GIAN society has been set up is to promote, organize and conduct any kind of programmes, schemes or activities to scout, document, augment innovations by small farmers, artisans, pastoralists etc., primarily in disadvantaged rural areas
