It provides immediate care to the sick, injured and abandoned animals on the streets. Various services provides by the pfa include animal rescue service, prevention of cruelty towards animals, adoption and rehabilitation work to put the rescued animals back to their natural environment. It also conducts awareness programmes on animal for the humans so that they also learn to care for these animals
